Skating with Brother Wind in the North was exciting, energizing, and just plain fun. Nevermind the zero degree temperatures or the blustery gusts – I raced him to the edge of the rink, then pushed my way back to the other side to do it again. Hot chocolate was waiting, but there was no hurry to head home. The quiet beauty had a siren call.
